AI voice agents for businesses in the United Kingdom.

Languages

English is the main language, and English has the widest choice of voices and hearing models on the platform. Large Urdu- and Hindi-speaking communities live in the UK, so a business serving them can run a separate agent in that language. We have not tested British regional accents in speech recognition, so listen to test calls with your own callers.

Where it helps

  • Clinics and dental practices: take appointment requests and pass urgent calls to staff.
  • Law firms and accountants: capture the caller's matter, contact details and urgency for a fee earner to return.
  • Trades and maintenance: take a fault report with the address and the problem, and pass it to the dispatcher.
  • Out-of-hours lines: every call is answered and logged with a summary, intent and outcome.

Phone numbers and calling

Phynxa does not sell phone numbers. Bring a number from Twilio, Telnyx, Plivo, Vonage or Exotel and assign it to an agent. We have not verified which UK numbers each provider can issue, so confirm with yours. Outbound calls and campaigns run on Twilio and Exotel.

Rules to check

In the UK, Ofcom and the ICO oversee calls and personal data; marketing calls are covered by PECR, and the Telephone Preference Service lets people opt out of them. UK GDPR applies to call recordings. This is not legal advice and Phynxa does not claim compliance on your behalf.

Common questions

Does the agent handle British accents?
We have not tested British regional accents in speech recognition. Listen to test calls with your own callers before launch.
Does Phynxa provide UK phone numbers?
No. You connect a number from your own provider account, and whether it can issue a UK number is the provider's decision.
Can it call people who are on the Telephone Preference Service?
That is a legal question about your calls, not something Phynxa decides for you. Check PECR and the TPS rules before running outbound campaigns.
