Scheduled calls
Call one contact now or at a later time, see upcoming calls, and cancel one before it runs.
What you will achieve
An agent will call one contact at a time you choose.
Step-by-step setup
- Open Contacts, tab Contacts, and open the contact's actions menu.
- Choose Call / Schedule.
- Choose the Agent. Only agents set to Outbound or Inbound / Outbound can place calls.
- Under When, choose Right now, In 30 minutes, In 1 hour, In 2 hours, In 24 hours, or Pick a date and time (then set Date, Time and Timezone).
- Choose Call now or Schedule.
A confirmation reads "Calling {name} now." or "Scheduled for {date and time}."
Upcoming and past
The Scheduled tab lists Upcoming calls with a cancel button on each, and Call history for those that have run. Cancel a call before it runs if plans change.
Configuration details
- Time zones. The date and time you pick are read in the zone you choose (the dialog says so); Phynxa stores the exact moment, so daylight-saving changes do not shift it.
- A contact's own Timezone helps you schedule "in their day".
- A scheduled call only runs if the agent is still published and still an outbound agent.
Testing
Schedule a call to yourself for the next few minutes.
Expected result
At the chosen time your phone rings.
Troubleshooting
- The call did not happen. The agent may have been unpublished or switched to inbound-only; the call is then marked failed ("Agent is paused or no longer outbound").
- Wrong time. Check the Timezone in the dialog.
