WhatsApp analytics and costs

See how many messages and conversations your WhatsApp agents handled, how fast they answered, and what it cost.

What you will achieve

You will see what your WhatsApp agents did over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, and understand every charge.

Open it

Open WhatsApp agents, open the agent, and choose its Analytics tab. The figures are for that agent only; another agent, even in the same workspace, has its own. The WhatsApp agents list adds up conversations and messages for the whole workspace. Pick Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days. Everything is for your own workspace only.

The figures

  • Messages received. Messages customers sent in the period.
  • Answered by the agent. Replies the agents sent.
  • Conversations. How many conversations started, and with how many different people.
  • Typical reply time. The middle waiting time between a customer's message and the agent finishing the answer. It includes the short wait that lets a customer finish typing several messages, so a few seconds is normal.
  • Cost. What the agents' replies cost in the period.

Below them:

  • Messages per day shows messages received and sent each day. Days are counted in UTC.
  • Voice notes and other messages counts voice notes received and sent, replies you typed yourself, campaign messages, and Messages that failed.

What is charged

ChargeWhenAmount
WhatsApp slotOnce, when you confirm buying it. Kept after that: unlinking a number or deleting its agent frees the slot for the next one$20 per slot
RepliesEach time the agent answersThe model's cost, plus the voice cost if the reply or the customer's note was a voice note, plus the cost of searching knowledge

Both come out of your credit. Slot purchases are listed under WhatsApp slots on the Billing page, and each reply's cost is shown on the agent's Analytics tab. Linking, reconnecting and unlinking a number are free. There are no free messages and no per-minute or per-message platform fee: every reply is charged by usage. Test chats in the dashboard are charged like real replies. If your credit runs out, the agent stops answering until you add more (the number stays linked and the slot stays yours), so keep an eye on your credit under Billing.

Where else the data goes

Use a Webhook on the agent to send each message and conversation update to your own system. See Webhooks.
