Plans and billing
The plans, how paying with PayPal works, how your credit lasts, and what is and is not enforced.
What you will achieve
You will pick a plan, pay for it, and know how your credit lasts.
The plans
Prices are in US dollars. Each plan has a range: you choose how much to pay within it, and what you pay becomes your call credit. It does not expire.
| Plan | Pay between | Agents | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 | A one-time demo of 10 free minutes in all: up to 5 of them as real calls, the rest for testing in the browser. Testing can use all 10. Real calls and testing share the same 10. |
| Essential | $10 to $139 | 1 | Published agent, real calls. |
| Growth | $140 to $349 | 3 | |
| Professional | $350 to $819 | 10 | |
| Enterprise | $820 to $5,000 | Unlimited |
The public pricing page has a calculator that estimates a budget from your expected call minutes.
The free demo is once per person
The Free demo belongs to a person, not to an account. Deleting your account and signing up again, using another spelling of the same email (a +tag, or dots in a Gmail address), or signing in with the same Google account or from the same browser does not start a new 10 minutes: you keep the minutes you had left. A different person on a shared computer is not penalised, and sharing an internet connection never counts against you.
To tell the cases apart, Phynxa keeps only an irreversible code made from your verified email, your Google account and your browser, with the minutes used under it, and forgets it 12 months after you last used it. No email, address or phone number is kept for this. If the demo was counted wrongly (a shared computer, or an account you lost access to), contact support and we will review it. Buying a plan is never affected.
Note. The plan descriptions mention extras such as webhooks, insight and the API. Today the only limits enforced are the number of agents and whether you can publish. Webhooks, the API and the rest are available on every plan.
Prerequisites
- The owner or admin role. For members the Buy buttons are disabled.
- Payments set up on the platform. If not, Buy is disabled with an explanation.
Step-by-step: buy a plan
- Open Plans & Billing.
- Choose Buy plan on a plan. On the plan you already have, the button reads Add credit.
- Enter a whole-dollar amount within the plan's range.
- Continue to PayPal, approve the payment, and you return to Phynxa.
- The page confirms: "<Plan> is active. Your credit does not expire; use it as you need." If you close PayPal instead, the page says "Payment cancelled. You were not charged."
How credit works
- What you pay is your credit, and it never expires. There is no monthly charge; nothing is charged again unless you pay.
- The plan you buy stays active for as long as you have credit left. When the credit is used up, the workspace goes back to Free until you buy a plan again.
- Paying again adds to your credit straight away. A bigger payment buys the bigger plan; a smaller one never takes a bigger plan away while you still have credit.
- A full refund or a chargeback takes back that payment's credit. If another payment still stands, you keep the plan it bought.
- A partial refund takes back exactly the amount refunded from your credit, and what is left decides the plan: $200 on Growth with $20 refunded is $180, still Growth; $140 with $20 refunded is $120, which is Essential.
- A dispute opened with PayPal puts that payment on hold (its credit is withdrawn) until PayPal decides. If PayPal rules for you, it comes back.
When your credit is used up
Calls already in progress can finish. New calls are refused until you buy a plan to add credit, and the workspace is on Free. Agents that were already published stay published, but new agents beyond the Free limit cannot be created and an unpublished agent cannot be published until you buy a plan.
Where to see your plan
The top of Plans & Billing shows your plan and your balance: what is available for new calls, what is held for calls in progress, what you have paid in total and what you have spent. Below the plans, Payment history lists every payment with the state the server holds it in: Waiting for PayPal, Paid, Refunded, Under dispute, Rejected or Expired. A payment counts only when it says Paid. PayPal also sends you its own receipts.
Your credit and your calls
What you pay is your credit. Each call sets aside the cost of its first two minutes before it starts, keeps that ahead of what it has cost while it runs, and is charged its real cost when it ends. Calls placed by campaigns and scheduled calls set credit aside before they dial. When the credit cannot cover more of a call, the agent says goodbye and ends it; a new call cannot start while the available amount is zero. Paying again adds credit straight away.
Testing
Payments can run against a PayPal sandbox when the platform is configured that way; buy with a sandbox buyer account to test without real money.
Expected result
After approving, the page shows your plan, and your balance now includes what you paid.
