Plivo
Connect Plivo and import its numbers, then point a number at Phynxa so an agent answers it.
Good to know. Outbound calls, campaigns and transfers run on Twilio, not on Plivo.
What you will achieve
Your Plivo account is connected and its numbers are listed in Phynxa.
Prerequisites
- A Plivo account with an Auth ID (starts with
MAorSA) and Auth token.
Step-by-step setup
- Phone numbers, Providers tab, Plivo card, Add credentials.
- Enter Auth ID and Auth token, choose Save.
- Choose Import numbers.
Pointing a Plivo number at Phynxa
In the Plivo console (Plivo controls these screens), create a voice application whose Answer URL is the Plivo address from Phynxa's Webhook setup tab with the method POST, then open the number, set its application type to XML Application, choose that application and update the number. Plivo's guide: Receive incoming calls.
Configuration details
Plivo answers use Plivo's own XML, which Phynxa generates. Outbound calls, campaigns and transfers use Twilio only.
Testing
Import numbers is the check that the credentials work.
Expected result
The Plivo card shows Connected and its numbers can be imported.
Troubleshooting
- Authentication error on import. Re-copy the Auth ID and token.
- Calls ring but there is no conversation. Use Twilio for live calls.
