Connect GoHighLevel with your own marketplace app so an agent can create contacts and notes in a sub-account.

What you will achieve

An agent will be able to create contacts and add notes in a GoHighLevel sub-account.

Overview and use cases

Save callers as GoHighLevel contacts.
Add a note to a contact.
Read a contact's history.

Note. GoHighLevel has no ticket object, so tickets are unavailable. Agency-level tokens cannot reach contacts; connect with the sub-account (location) that holds them.

Prerequisites

A GoHighLevel account with a sub-account, and a marketplace app (OAuth) created in the GoHighLevel developer area.

External account setup (in GoHighLevel)

GoHighLevel controls these screens. Their guide: OAuth 2.0.

Create a marketplace app with the redirect URL shown in Phynxa's Connect dialog.
Allow the scopes below and copy the Client ID and Client secret.

Connect it in Phynxa

Integrations, Connect on GoHighLevel.
Paste the Client ID and Client secret.
Continue to GoHighLevel, pick the sub-account and approve. The card shows Connected.

Scopes: contacts.readonly, contacts.write, opportunities.readonly, opportunities.write, locations.readonly. Every request carries the required Version: 2021-07-28 header; the API host is services.leadconnectorhq.com.

Test it

Test connection, then ask an agent in Chat to save a contact and check the sub-account.

Expected result

The contact appears in GoHighLevel and the card counts a success.

Troubleshooting

"This connection has no location. Reconnect and choose a sub-account." You approved at agency level, which cannot reach contacts. Reconnect and choose a sub-account.
Redirect mismatch. The URL in the app must match Phynxa's exactly.
401 later. Reconnect; tokens can be revoked in GoHighLevel.

Security and credentials

Client secret stored encrypted. Remove forgets the connection; uninstall the app in GoHighLevel to revoke access.
