Integrations overview

The 19 apps you can connect, how connecting works, which ones an agent can use during a call, and how to test and remove a connection.

What you will achieve

You will know what Integrations is for, how each kind of app is connected, and which apps an agent can actually use in a call.

What it is

Integrations connects your own accounts (CRM, calendar, email, team chat and more) to your workspace. Once an app is connected, an agent can use some of its actions as a tool, for example saving a lead or booking a slot.

The page shows one card per app with its logo, a short description, and Connect. Use the tabs All integrations, Connected, Available and Needs attention, the All categories filter, or the search box.

Not every action is offered. An agent gets the actions it can use safely with what a caller can tell it. Actions that need an id the agent has no way to look up (changing a deal's stage, for example) are not offered, and neither are actions that only set an app up.

Two ways to connect

1. Paste a key (most apps). Calendly, Slack, n8n, Shopify, Airtable, Notion, Asana and Jira Service Management ask you to paste credentials from the app. Phynxa checks them against the app before anything is saved, and stores them encrypted. If the check fails, nothing is saved as connected and the card records why.

2. Sign in to the app (OAuth). HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google Sheets, Outlook and OneDrive send you to the app to grant access.

  • For Google apps, if Phynxa supplies the Google app, Connect goes straight to Google's sign-in, with nothing to paste. Google Sheets first asks which spreadsheet to use (you can leave it empty and set it later).
  • For every other OAuth app (and for Google if Phynxa does not supply one), the Connect dialog first asks for your own app's Client ID and Client secret. It shows a redirect URL to add to your app before you continue, "or the app will refuse the connection". Create the app in the vendor's developer console, add that URL, and paste the ID and secret.

Step-by-step: connect any app

  1. Open Integrations and choose Connect on the card.
  2. Fill in the dialog. Get them here or the developer console links to the vendor.
  3. Choose Check and connect (paste-a-key apps) or continue to the vendor and approve (OAuth apps).
  4. The card shows Connected and a confirmation reads "{app} connected."

Test, update and remove

Open the card's ⋯ menu:

  • Test connection: checks the app now. "{app} is responding." means it works.
  • Edit credentials: replace a key or client ID. Secret boxes start empty with "Saved, leave blank to keep it".
  • Edit settings (Google Sheets only): change which spreadsheet and tab the agent uses. It is checked with Google as soon as you save.
  • Documentation: the vendor's own docs.
  • Remove: forgets the connection and the credentials saved with it. Tools made from it will say it is not connected until you connect again.

A card with a problem shows Error and the reason, with Reconnect.

Security

Credentials are stored encrypted, never shown again, and used only for your workspace. Connect with an account that has only the access you want the agent to have.
